Relativity Poem
I am the energy. Therefore, I am not…
I am the energy. Therefore, I am not…
Steps.
Let there be darkness.
Look for one fine night.
Go to the beach.
Stand in the sand.
Pick a handful grains.
Look into the heavens now.
Think.
The grains in your hand.
The sparkling flashes in the sky.
Where do you fit.
What’s your worth.
Is it all about size.
Size influences esteem.
Etcetera etcetera.
Fractal in.
A grain in your hands
Is full of molecules.
A molecule in it
Is made of atoms.
An atom in it
Is a cluster of particles.
A particle down there
Is built with more particles.
And so on and on and on.
Fractal out.
Hope your night has the moon.
Look above.
Into the moon’s eye.
Someone walked on it once.
The way he walked right here.
With a bit of elevated ease.
Look down.
See where you stand on.
You will see where you really stand.
The humble earth at your feet
Is over a sextillion times your size.
But still likes to stay at your feet.
Most obedient you can ever have.
Look farther above.
Find a disc’s arm encasing
The whole space and matter
That fits in your naked eye.
Planets, stars, dust and ice
Rocks, gasses, you and I’s
All fit in a dot
In the whole of this giant disc.
What we dearly call the Milky Way.
Look beyond.
I know we cannot.
There is a shortcut.
Close your eyes.
For when your eye view closes,
Mind’s eye opens.
Displaying colors beyond known.
Limits well unknown.
Conscious to the edge of cosmos.
Pretend.
And try to look again.
With this new inner eyepiece.
Imagine another superdisc.
Resembling the Milky Way.
But a dot in that superdisc
Contains everything.
That’s in our Milky Way.
Relate.
The Milky Way has siblings.
Some have the same features.
Many are smaller than it.
And a lot are tinier than it.
But all fit in the superdisc
The is now named as
The Council of Giants.
Relativity.
A flash of a perception
Covering all the edges
Of all the fractals
And beyond and deep
Over the confines of not only cosmos
But where consciousness takes us.
The contrasts so far were easy to ponder
Analyze all that is said
With the whole of consciousness
And find yourself
Where you stand.
As a born conscious creature
Are you great?
As an invisible speck in the cosmos
Are you null?
As an embodiment of non-discrete energy
Are you worth this question?
Are you?
